Storyline : Claire Harris is the kind but serious curator at the Miami Museum of Art. The museum is facing financial difficulties and may have to close. Its last hope of making it through, an exhibit, gets canceled, and a replacement needs to be found. Devan Cole is a laid-back avant-garde artist. He is based in Miami but wants to move to New York soon to further his career. The museum’s director hires Devan to create a new exhibit. Claire prefers more conventional art and dislikes Devan’s work. Their opposite personalities clash, and at first, they do not get along. However, they eventually come up with an idea for the exhibit that involves walking in other people’s shoes. As Claire and Devan spend time together while working on the exhibit, they get to know each other and find that their personalities complement each other well. Claire brings structure to Devan’s life, and Devan helps Claire have fun. The two start falling for each other. However, their exhibit needs funding that may be difficult to get. In addition, Devan is still planning to move to New York afterward, which would bring their budding romance to a halt. —Patrick Lin
